Argentinian studio DESIGNO-Patagonia introduces the ‘Cuecos’ collection — a series of handcrafted kitchen and home containers inspired by the natural transformation of materials. From pebbles shaped by flowing rivers to wood refined by human touch, each piece tells a story of time and nature.
Designed with Kaleb J. Cardenaz Zavala, the collection features locally sourced lenga wood, treated with olive oil and turpentine, and smooth river pebbles. The blend of craftsmanship, industrial technology, and sustainability yields beautiful yet functional items for modern living. Even the packaging follows this ethos, using recycled cardboard to reduce waste. The Cuecos series is more than homeware—a tactile celebration of nature’s slow artistry.

Designo Patagonia is a design studio based in Bariloche, Argentina, whose work is rooted in the rich material heritage of the Patagonian region. Their creative approach emphasises the recovery of stories, craftsmanship, and raw materials such as stone, wood, and leather, reflecting the character and strength of this unique landscape.
The studio believes in employing technologies suited to its context while honouring environmental and human resources.
