Ownership & Transparency

Last updated: 01//01/2026

This page explains who we are, how we are funded, and how we protect editorial independence. We treat clarity, separation, and traceability as baseline standards.

Who we are

How we are funded

To sustain publishing, we may generate revenue through:

  • Advertising (clearly separated from editorial)

  • Sponsorships/partnerships/series support (clearly labelled)

  • Events/talks / educational support

  • Affiliate links (if used, disclosed)

  • Grants/donations (if used, disclosed)

We do not sell editorial conclusions. Paid relationships cannot buy coverage, framing, or outcomes.

Advertising, sponsorship, and labelling

When content involves commercial support, we label it clearly (for example):

  • Sponsored

  • Partner Content

  • Supported by

We also design commercial content to be visibly distinct from independent editorial reporting.

Editorial firewall (independence)

Commercial relationships do not control:

  • what we cover (or don’t cover)

  • how we research, verify, and report

  • who we quote

  • the final edit, headlines, and publishing decisions

Conflicts of interest & disclosures

We disclose relevant conflicts of interest, which may include:

  • employment or consultancy ties

  • investments or financial interests

  • close personal relationships

  • hosted travel, gifts, or product samples

  • paid collaborations connected to the subject

When appropriate, team members recuse themselves from decisions or edits.

Affiliate links & product mentions

If we use affiliate links and may earn a commission, we disclose this clearly on the page (or next to the relevant section). Affiliate relationships do not determine our editorial choices or conclusions.

Data & privacy

We collect and process personal data only as needed to operate the site and services. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

Updates

We update this page when ownership, governance, funding models, or disclosure practices change.
